About this job
We will be hiring 400 Journeyman Pipefitters in early 2013 for different sites in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada for various lengths. Three of the sites are man camps-- each candidate gets their own room but shares a bathroom with one other person (Jack and Jill style). Food, tools, airfare and landing services will be provided.
Alberta will need proof that you are a Journeyman Pipefitter. To be a Journeyman Pipefitter in Canada, you require at least 54 months AND 6750 hours of experience (VERIFABLE by company HR contact AND a Foreman or Supervisor (to verify that you actually worked as a Pipefitter).
Our client is willing to pay the $450.00 fee to process your AIT application. There are lots of well paying jobs in Canada but you must be qualified for your application to get approved. On average, you will need 5 years of verifiable experience to be approved to work in Canada. British Columbia requires a minimum of 5 years and experience in oil and gas work is a plus.

Job Description
Job Title: Pipefitter Journeyman
Location: Northern Alberta & British Columbia, Canada
Job Type: Full-time - Variable lengths
Pay Rate: $35.57-$39.52 per hour

Estimated Start Date:
6 - 12 weeks after the submission of paperwork, however candidates should be ready and available to deploy for a period of 90 days after the submittal of paperwork.
Site Info: Man camp
Rotation: Various rotations available depending on each man camp and client
14 days on/7 days off or 21 days on/7 days off
Single rooms with a shared bathroom. (One bathroom per two rooms)
All meals provided
Laundry service provided
Transportation to and from job site is provided.

Landing Services:
We provide organization of and transportation to and from:
-Required training;
-Social Insurance Number acquisition/renewal;
-banking arrangements; and
-last minute purchases (cold weather gear/boots ect.)

Job Requirements
• Have verifiable work experience as a Pipefitter 6750 hours and 54 months. This is required for Journeyman recognition in Canada.
• Posses a valid US Passport or capable of obtaining a US passport.
• Capable of successfully passing a background check. No felonies!
• Capable of successfully passing a Drug & Alcohol Test.
